Our groups are all about wellbeing, friendship, and meaningful conversations. Whether you love books or simply enjoy a good chat, Reading Friends helps reduce loneliness and creates lasting social connections.

Although national support from The Reading Agency has ended, ßÙßÇÂþ»­ Libraries’ Reading Friends groups are here to stay. Join us and experience:

Reading Friends Groups at ßÙßÇÂþ»­ libraries

Below is a list of the Reading Friends groups available at the following ßÙßÇÂþ»­ libraries:

LGBTQ+ Reading Friends

ßÙßÇÂþ»­ Libraries, in partnership with The Reading Agency, will be hosting monthly Reading Friends groups at various libraries for members of the LGBTQ+ community to come together around a shared love of reading.

Run by LGBTQ+ members of staff, the groups will have discussions and recommendations on a different subject each month. They will always be confidential, supportive, and positive spaces.
