- Friday 3 April (Good Friday)
- Monday 6 April (Easter Monday)
- Monday 4 May (Early May bank holiday)

- Monday 31 August (Summer bank holiday)
- Friday 25 December (Christmas Day)
- Saturday 26 December (Boxing Day)
- Monday 28 December (Boxing Day bank holiday)

Emergency closures
A Library Manager, or the senior member of staff on duty, has discretion to close service points within the library, or the library itself, when staffing levels are deemed to be too low, or when conditions make it difficult, to open the library, with due regard to health and safety considerations.
