Festival of Friendship - Ukraine
From Tuesday 27 January to Saturday 31 February (inclusive).
In partnership with Epsom and , and the week-long festival celebrates traditional Ukrainian crafts and cultural heritage as well as the friendships that have grown between Ukrainian nationals who have come to the borough and been assisted and befriended by the local community.
Festival of Friendship – Ukraine will include exhibitions, workshops, films, music and more, all with a focus on sharing Ukrainian culture within the local community. For our timetable of free and paid-for events and activities, details can be found on the Epsom and Ewell Borough website, .
BookTrust storytime
Tuesday 10 February, from 10.15am to 10.45am.
We will be reading the chosen five books for the .
The children will be given the opportunity to vote for their favourites.
This event is for under 5's, children must be accompanied by an adult.
Lewis Carroll travelling display
The display will be at Epsom Library in June.
ßÙßÇÂþ» History Centre’s Lewis Carroll collection has been growing for over 75 years. In 2025, marking 160 years since the first publication of ‘Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland’, the Centre celebrated the archives of Reverend Charles Lutwidge Dodgson (1832–1898)—better known by his enchanting pen name, Lewis Carroll—with a free foyer display and a cabinet exhibition in their search room.

- Every Monday starting on Monday 19 January, from 10.30am to 11am.

No need to book for the sessions, numbers are restricted and spaces given on a first come, first served basis.

Reading groups
Reading Friends Book and Talking Book group
Thursdays at 4pm. Next date: Thursday 26 February at 4pm.
A social group to discuss talking books, have fun and make friends. Read, listen and chat. The group is inclusive and will continue to welcome adults with a visual impairment or print impairment. Customers who don't have a visual impairment are also welcomed to attend.
Come along, meet new people and discuss books that you've listened to or read recently. Tea and Coffee will be provided.
There's no required reading or listening beforehand, just come along. A member of the Epsom Library team will facilitate the session, we can also assist customers with ordering Large Print books, Talking books or books of their choice.

Other events
Chess club
Every Tuesday from 5.30pm to 6.45pm.
Learn to play chess, free, no need to book, for ages 7 upwards, adults welcome too.
Yoga class
Join us for a calming yoga class from 2pm to 3pm every Friday (term time only).
Rose is a local yoga teacher with many years experience. Her classes combine flowing yoga sequences with gentle but powerful strength practices. Classes are relaxed and welcoming, with options and modifications to suit all abilities.
Cost: £10 per person, per session. You can pay on the day either with cash or a card. To book please email epsom.library@surreycc.gov.uk or speak to a member of staff in branch.

Every Wednesday from 12pm to 2pm.
