Heads and Tails: interactive storytelling performance
Saturday 7 February. Performance one at 10am and performance two at 11.30am.
Get ready for another wild storytelling adventure!
dives into the folklore and fables of Southern African cultures, bursting with fun, laughter, and unforgettable adventures. Whether you are roaring like a lion or stretching tall like a giraffe, this is storytelling like you have never experienced before!
To celebrate , ßÙßÇÂþ» Libraries proudly welcomes back professional storytellers and for a spectacular return. They will bring African animal tales to life with high-energy performances, audience interaction, and plenty of surprises along the way.
Join us for an enchanting journey into African animal tales, brought to life with lively audience participation and interactive fun! Don’t miss this magical storytelling experience.
Booking is essential so book now to avoid missing out. Tickets price is donation based (minimum suggested is £2 per person attending).

Pebble rhymetime
- Every Monday, from 10.30am to 11am. Term time only. No booking is required.
- Every Thursday from 10.30am to 11am. Booking essential. Bookings can be made in person at the library from Saturday onwards each week.
- Every Friday from 10.30am to 11am. Term time only. No booking required.

Storytime
- Every Wednesday from 4pm to 4.30pm
- Every Saturday from 11am to 11.30am. Note: There will be no session on Saturday 7 February.

Reading Groups
Chatterbooks reading group
Meetings will be held once a month on a Thursday from 4pm to 5pm.
Chatterbooks is a reading group suitable for children aged 7 to 11 years.

Uncommon Readers
Meets every six weeks on a Monday from 11am to 12pm.
This group is now full and is currently not accepting new members.

Digital support volunteer
Every Tuesday from 5.45pm to 6.45pm.
Do you want help using a computer, the internet, your iPad, tablet or iPhone, or other IT related problems?
Appointments are recommended if you have something specific you need help with. Appointments are 30 minutes each and can be booked at the Walton Library helpdesk.
