ßÙßÇÂþ»­ History Centre in Woking collects and preserves the records of ßÙßÇÂþ»­'s past and present, documenting the story of the county and its people from the 12th century to the 21st century. Visiting the centre to use our collections is free, staff are always happy to offer advice, and we have a busy programme of exhibitions, talks and events.

Closure for stocktaking Monday 1 to Friday 12 December

ßÙßÇÂþ»­ History Centre will be closed for stocktaking from Monday 1 December until Friday 12 December. This will enable us to improve our finding aids and your access to our collections. We will be open on Saturday 13 December and then from Tuesday 16 December.

Opening times

  • Monday: closed
  • Tuesday: 9.30am to 12.45pm and 1.45pm to 5pm
  • Wednesday: 9.30am to 12.45pm and 1.45pm to 5pm
  • Thursday: 9.30am to 12.45pm and 1.45pm to 5pm
  • Friday: closed
  • Saturday: Second Saturday of the month, 9.30am to 1pm and 1.45pm to 4.15pm
  • Sunday: closed
