It is with deep sadness that we acknowledge the passing of Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Kent, as formally announced by Buckingham Palace.
Her Royal Highness dedicated much of her life to public service and charitable work, and her quiet dignity and compassion touched the lives of many across the country. She will be remembered with great affection and respect.
On behalf of ßÙßÇÂþ», I extend our heartfelt condolences to the Royal Family at this time of court mourning.
