ßÙßÇÂþ» Libraries, Where It Happens

When was the last time you visited your local library? Last year saw many ßÙßÇÂþ» libraries being transformed into more modern, accessible, sustainable spaces fit for the future.

Spaces reimagined for a variety of different uses, agile working, study and work zones with computers and free internet, meeting rooms and pods.  Spaces suitable for a variety of uses whether that be to work, rest, entertain, study or play.

Meeting spaces

Did you know that many libraries have meeting rooms available to use? Conveniently positioned in the heart of communities – why not have your next team, community group or work meeting in your local library ? Check out rooms to hire in libraries.

Agile working

With so many people working away from an actual office these days, have you thought about working from your local library? We have work zones and meeting pods where you can work away from the office and home right on your doorstep.

Extended opening hours

SuperAccess technology now means that libraries can be open to library members outside of main library staffing hours which means they are now open at a time to suit your lifestyle.

Library Hubs

Woking, Epsom, Redhill, Weybridge and Staines-upon-Thames libraries have all had major refurbishment works last year and are now fully open to the public once again.

Epsom, Weybridge and Staines-upon-Thames Library Hubs, also have other services co-located under the same roof, radio stations, voluntary sector, museums and birth and death registrations.  Flexible furniture makes it even easier to host a whole variety of community events within these spaces too. Making these spaces somewhere that the whole community can access and use.

Children’s Libraries

The refurbished children’s libraries are well worth a visit.  Sensitively designed to ensure that any child will find it a space where they feel comfortable to sit and experience the joy of reading. There’s always lots going on for children of all ages at your local library. There are many library resources designed to support children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.
