Everyone needs a good book, and what better than a good bookmark to keep track?
ßÙßÇÂþ» Libraries are excited to have collaborated with ßÙßÇÂþ» Youth Voice to share new bookmarks that do more than save your page. They highlight how young people can have their say and make a difference in ßÙßÇÂþ».
ßÙßÇÂþ» Youth Voice brings together children and young people from across the county. It enables them to share their ideas, experiences and priorities with decision-makers. Offering opportunities to get involved in many ways; from campaigns to creative projects, young people can influence services and community life. Young people can also join participation groups. For example, ßÙßÇÂþ» Youth Cabinet and Care Council.
Our libraries already offer far more than books. They are places to study, learn new skills, join events, and access trusted support. Reaching even more young people in a familiar, welcoming space, will also help spread awareness of the ways young people can participate and ensure their voices are heard.
Pick up a bookmark at your local library and join us in supporting the next generation to shape ßÙßÇÂþ»’s future.
