Doors now open in new modern community spaces for ßÙßÇÂþ»
Two modern community Library Hubs have now opened their doors in ßÙßÇÂþ». These hubs provide community spaces for all, providing a mix of public services, support, events and activities all under one roof. They’ve been designed with the local community needs in mind. Alongside service provision there will be social spaces available for residents to meet and connect with others, or to simply sit and relax. There are also areas available for community led activities to be run by community organisations and individuals.
Do come along and take a look at these stunning modern, high tech community spaces in the heart of ßÙßÇÂþ»’s communities.
Library Hub Staines-upon-Thames, Elmsleigh Centre, TW18 4QB
The Library Hub in Staines-upon-Thames opened it’s doors in July with the Library being the first of the co-located services to be on site and up and running. Registrations are also now operating on the 2nd floor, with dedicated rooms to sympathetically deal with their customers. It’s expected that Spelthorne Museum, Voluntary Support North ßÙßÇÂþ» and Citizens Advice will also be able to welcome customers at the hub shortly. This is as well as the hub being host to the Arts Funded project Escalate Arts, who hope to host a variety of arts and culture events from the hub.
We will be hosting a community open day in the Autumn date to be confirmed – but do come along in the meantime and take a look around. More information about the Library Hub Staines-upon-Thames can be found online.
