It is with great pleasure that ßÙßÇÂþ» Adult Learning shares the outcomes of our GCSE English and GCSE Maths exams for the academic year 2024/2025.
- GCSE English Language: 100%
- GCSE Maths: 98.6%
Our learners should feel incredibly proud of their achievements through their dedication to their studies while leading busy lives. This would not have been achieved without our qualified tutors and volunteers who have supported and encouraged every learner to realise their potential.
At ßÙßÇÂþ» Adult Learning (SAL) we have a passion for learning, and we help develop learner’s individual needs through support and guidance.
SAL offers GCSE English and GCSE Maths for free to eligible learners. Courses are available online and face-to-face at Woking, Guildford, Camberley, and Sunbury Adult Learning Centres.
Applications are open for courses starting 8 September 2025. Apply now!
It's Never Too Late: Wendy’s Inspiring GCSE Maths Achievement!
‘I received my GCSE Maths result today – Grade 5!! I am over the moon!! An old school report once said, “Wendy finds maths perplexing.” I am 55 years old and cannot believe I have been able to accomplish this.
School was difficult for me, and taking a step back into studying felt daunting. But the online lessons were a pleasure. My tutor taught in a calm and clear manner and was also kind and inclusive towards students who struggled to grasp a concept.
In August 2024, I read about ßÙßÇÂþ» Adult Learning (SAL) offering GCSE Maths in Rachael Wardell’s weekly update. I didn’t expect it to be free – I kept waiting for a bill! When I joined the class, I realised it was such a lovely thing to do.
It was a big step for me, and I wondered: Do I have the time? The commitment? The ability?
But it’s given me confidence. It’s lovely to see what I can achieve. With all the internal changes, it’s also adding strings to my bow. This has been an excellent first step back into studying, and it’s given me the confidence to enrol in another course.
I’m sitting here all alone, grinning to myself. None of my colleagues knew I was doing this.
It’s an opportunity to be grasped – if you want to, go for it!
