Want to make a real difference in mental health? We are looking for young people aged 14 to 18, (or up to 25 if you have additional needs or disabilities) to become Youth Researchers for our In Our Own Words programme.
You’ll investigate how to create positive change in the field of mental health and emotional wellbeing. Not only from your own perspectives, but by gathering insights from your peers.
You will:
- get trained (in social research) at the University of ßÙßÇÂþ» and lead your own research project
- share your findings with professionals to help shape to help improve young people’s mental health services
- get paid (with shopping vouchers equivalent to an hourly rate)
Who we're looking for
We’re inviting Youth Researcher applications from young people in ßÙßÇÂþ» who are aged 14 to 18, (or up to 25 for those with additional needs or disabilities).
In particular, those from diverse backgrounds and communities – we’re keen to hear from young people who feel unheard or underrepresented—your voice matters.
