Help to improve the Local Offer website for families and those supporting families, children and young people with additional needs and disabilities in ßÙßÇÂþ». Read about past feedback received about the Local Offer and action we've taken as a result.
We have provided below, some recent examples of actions taken in response to your feedback:
You Said:
"It seems that the "Leisure and Childcare" section on the local offer for ßÙßÇÂþ» lacks information on leisure activities, both inclusive and generic, for children with additional needs".
We Did:
We have updated the section and created a page called Leisure activities for children with additional needs.
You said:
"We would like information on activities specific to children and young people with Additional Needs and Disabilities (AND) during the 6 week summer holidays".
We did:
We produced a list of activities for under and over 5's of summer activities in the local area, which featured as a News item on the Local Offer. It was advertised on social media and in the AND newsletter.
You said:
"How does the process work if you have an Education Health and Care Plan (EHCP) and move out of area".
We Said
We updated our Moving in or out ßÙßÇÂþ» with an EHCP page, to cover all aspects of the process.
You said:
"It's confusing to navigate the schools admission process for a child with an EHCP on the ßÙßÇÂþ» website".
We did:
We centralised and streamlined the guidance so it just appears on the Local Offer site as: Schools admissions for children with an EHCP.
You said:
"Alternative Provision (AP) is confusing to understand".
We did:
We created a new: Guide for parents - AP explained page.
You said:
"We are unclear how to raise a concern regarding the statutory assessment".
We did:
We added a Concern and Complaints section under our Contact Us page.
In September 2025, the Local Offer team at Gloucestershire carried out a review of our Local Offer site. This comprised reviewing our Local Offer's compliance against aspects of the which relate to what Local Offer's must or should publish.
The review gave a score of Yes, Limited or No based on how successful we were in meeting the requirements:

Parents’ Voices Matter Survey
In late 2024, the Additional Needs and Disabilities (AND) Partnership ran the Parents’ Voices Matter (PVM) survey. This survey was to help the partnership understand the views of parents and carers of children and young people with AND in ßÙßÇÂþ». Ways to share your views
- Parents and Carers can find out ways they can share their views on the parent carer feedback page.
- ßÙßÇÂþ» Youth Voice is a partnership between ßÙßÇÂþ»'s young people and the User Voice and Participation Team. They often ask for feedback from young people, including via ATLAS a group specifically for those with additional needs and disabilities.
- , often ask parent/carers to feedback about their experiences. They have a monthly ', where they publish the responses from ßÙßÇÂþ» have given to questions parent/carers questions have asked.
