Who can use a Community Recycling Centre

All ßÙßÇÂþ» residents can use our community recycling centres (CRC).

To visit a CRC you will need to provide proof of address on your first visit, which can be:

  • Your driving licence
  • This year's council tax bill
  • A recent utility bill
  • Your ßÙßÇÂþ» bus pass
  • Any official or government document that shows your name and address

Once our staff have checked your proof of address you will be given a ßÙßÇÂþ» resident sticker to place in your car window for subsequent visits.

Residents using vans, pickups or trailers

To use a van, pickup or trailer to bring waste to a CRC, you will need a van permit. See our page on using a van, pickup or trailer at a CRC.

Children

All children under primary school age (year 6) must remain in your vehicle. Children in year 7 and above must be accompanied by an adult.

Animals

Pets and other animals must remain in your vehicle.

Pedestrians

Pedestrians can use only these CRCs:

Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead residents

By agreement, residents from the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead (RBWM) are still able to use Lyne CRC. On arrival residents of RBWM will be asked for proof of address (see above) to confirm residency and will be given a sticker to display on their windscreen for subsequent visits.
