If you move house
We need your new address to check if your child still qualifies for school transport.
Complete the change of address form.
- We’ll check if your child is still eligible.
- If they still qualify, we’ll update their travel details.
If your child uses contracted transport and we can add them to an existing route, the review will be quicker. If we need to arrange new transport, it will take longer. Please give us as much notice as possible.
The transport company cannot take your child to a new address unless we approve it.
Moving out of ßÙßÇÂþ»
If you move to a different council area, your new council will be responsible for your child’s school transport. This starts from the date they get your child’s paperwork.
We’ll work with you to make sure your child has transport until your new council takes over.
Moving school
If your child changes school or college, they may still qualify for help with transport.
- Please submit a new application for help with travel
- If your child is eligible, we’ll arrange new transport as soon as possible
