Late appeals
If you send your appeal late, we will hear it within:
- 40 school days of the deadline, or
- 30 school days of when you sent it (whichever is later).
In-year appeals and school holidays
We hear in‑year appeals within 30 school days of when you submit your appeal.
We do not hold hearings in school holidays.
If you appeal near the end of term, we may hear it in the next term.
If you appeal near the end of the summer term, your hearing may be in the new school year.
