We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Senior Manager - East 2 Area team to join our Adult Social Care, Living and Ageing Well management team within ßÙßÇÂþ»'s Adults, Wellbeing and Health Partnerships directorate. This is an exciting opportunity for someone that wants to work as part of the leadership team working closely with partners to improve the outcomes for our residents in ßÙßÇÂþ».

About the ServiceÂ
Our Living and Ageing Well Service provides support to ßÙßÇÂþ» residents who meet social care criteria under the Care Act, focusing on personalisation and a recovery-focused, strength-based approach. Our aim is to empower service-users to make informed choices, control their care, and be active community members. Our teams deliver high-quality care and are known for their friendly and effective service.Â
About the RoleÂ
You will oversee the daily delivery of adult social care support, be part of the local leadership team, manage a delegated budget, and ensure high performance standards across East ßÙßÇÂþ». You will collaborate with council partners, health providers, and the voluntary sector to improve local lives.
We seek an enthusiastic, innovative leader with a professional qualification in health or social care and a proven track record in team management. You should understand and commit to the personalisation agenda, have experience in adult social care services, and be knowledgeable about relevant legislation. A commitment to supporting carers and adhering to the Council's Equality and Diversity policy is essential.

- A professional qualification in social care, occupational therapy or other relevant health qualification
- Relevant recent experience in managing frontline social care
