Description
The salary range for this role is £54,636- £58,953 per annum based on working 36 hours per week. Please note whilst we operate a hybrid working model you will need to be office based at least 3 times a week then in line with the business needs at short notice when required.
We also offer a financial package of up to £6,000 which is payable in 3 instalments across your first 18 months in post. Information about qualifying criteria to receive this payment can be found HERE.
This is a 9-5 qualified social work role, based at Victoria Gate our Woking office, meaning you will not be required to travel to visit children, young people, and families. This could make this role a good fit for anyone looking for greater flexibility around how they work.

About the RoleÂ
We are looking for a dynamic leader to join our management team within the Children's Single Point of Access (SPA). In this pivotal role, you will work closely with the Service Manager as well as internal and external partners to help deliver ßÙßÇÂþ»'s vision and ensuring excellent services for all vulnerable children, young people, and their families in ßÙßÇÂþ».
What you will be doing:
- Leadership & Practice Development: Champion high standards of professional practice within the team and across the wider service.
- Deputising for the Service Manager: Take the lead when required, including managing duty rotas, allocating priority work, and providing expert guidance to team members.
- Chairing Key Meetings: Lead a range of professional, statutory, and multi-agency meetings to drive collaborative outcomes.
- Training & Representation: Support the development of best practice through training initiatives, represent the team on working groups, and build strong interagency relationships.
What we are looking for:
- A confident and compassionate leader with a strong background in children's services.
- Proven ability to manage complex workloads and provide effective leadership.
- Skill in multi-agency working and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Shortlisting Criteria
To be considered for shortlisting for this position, your application will clearly evidence the following:
- A social Work Qualification or equivalent with Social Work England registration.
- In depth understanding of various relevant legislation.
- Evidence of continual professional development
