Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025
The ßÙßÇÂþ» Public Footpath No. 16 (Farnham) Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025 was made on the grounds of public safety due to a collapsed bridge. The Order came into operation on 15 May 2025. It was due to expire on 15 November 2025 but has been continued in force by the Secretary of State for Transport until 15 November 2026.
The Order as continued prohibits all traffic on foot or by any other means from entering or proceeding in that length of Public Footpath No.16 (Farnham) from point A (Grid ref: 482025 144949) to point B (Grid ref: 482141 144861) and which is marked by a solid bold line on plan no. 3/1/18/H109.
The prohibition described above will only be operative while the County Council, or an authorised person acting on its behalf, displays signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2002 (S.I. 2002 No. 3113) prohibiting the said movements. Access to properties will not be affected.
There is no alternative route.
