Public Bridleway 16 (Ockham) Public Footpath 19 (Ockham)
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025

On 07 October 2025 ßÙßÇÂþ»­ will make the above-mentioned temporary order, the effect of which is to prohibit all traffic on foot or by any other means from entering or proceeding along Public Bridleway 16 (Ockham) from point A (Grid reference: 507786 157808) heading South to point B (Grid reference: 507767 157617) as shown as a bold line on plan reference: 3/1/60/H27.
And
Public Footpath 19 (Ockham) from point A (Grid reference: 508407 157785) heading South West to point B (Grid reference: 508318 157517) as shown as a bold line on plan reference: 3/1/60/H28.

The Order is necessary in the interest of public safety due to works being undertaken on or near the highway. The closure will be in operation for a period of four months from 8 October 2025 or until completion of the works, if earlier. That period can be extended by the Secretary of State for Transport if required.

The temporary closure will only be in operation when appropriate road traffic signs are displayed on site by the County Council or an authorised person acting on its behalf. Access to properties will not be affected.

The alternative route for traffic for Public Bridleway 16 (Ockham) from point A (Grid reference: 507786 157808) will be to head generally South East for approximately 104 metres. Then head generally South for approximately 90 metres. Then head South West for approximately 130 metres to grid point B (Grid reference: 507767 157808).

The alternative route for traffic for Public Footpath 19 (Ockham) from point A (Grid reference: 508407 157785) will be to head generally South East then South West for 340 metres to point B (Grid reference: 508318 157517).

The Public Bridleway 16 and Public Footpath 19 (Ockham) Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025 will be made by the County Council under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
