ßÙßÇÂþ»­ Arts aim is to support and development opportunities for artists of all ages and abilities. Working closely with local artists and arts organisations, theatre makers and dance artists across ßÙßÇÂþ»­, to increase participation and initiate projects.

We aim to develop artists of all art forms with training, networking and commission opportunities.

Escalate Arts

Escalate Arts is an Arts Council England funded initiative, designed to transform how people work, design, enjoy and participate in the arts in Spelthorne. The project has been developed in partnership between ßÙßÇÂþ»­, Spelthorne Borough Council, Artswork and Ashford Youth Club and aims to:

  • Transform ßÙßÇÂþ»­’s new flagship library in Staines-upon-Thames into a ‘cultural hub’ for the community
  • Increase engagement with arts and culture locally
  • Develop creative skills opportunities and infrastructure
  • Develop youth leadership in the local area

Performing arts

We are working in partnership with the Farnham Maltings to deliver performing arts by providing support to theatre makers and dance artists across ßÙßÇÂþ»­.


ßÙßÇÂþ»­ Hills Arts

This partnership between ßÙßÇÂþ»­ Arts and ßÙßÇÂþ»­ Hills National Landscape aims to connect people to the ßÙßÇÂþ»­ Hills through an imaginative arts programme, meaningful engagement and developing our creative community. It includes site responsive sound works, events and installations with accompanying walks, talks and workshops. Find out more on the .


Arts Partnership ßÙßÇÂþ»­

is a strategic alliance of local borough councils working together to shape and deliver a cultural offering for the whole county.


Culture Box ßÙßÇÂþ»­

offers support to schools that are passionate about equipping pupils with the knowledge and cultural capital they need to succeed in life. Support includes:

  • Case Studies about inspiring projects that have been delivered in schools across ßÙßÇÂþ»­ and beyond
  • Collaborative school clusters working on joint programmes that create funding opportunities
  • Resources website, with links to arts organisations which have experience of working in ßÙßÇÂþ»­ Schools
  • Help with and

Dance, drama and music resources in Ewell Library

Held within Ewell Library, the performing arts section offer a range of material covering different aspects of the performing arts including books, audio visual and scores.
