Revive shops

At all of our Community Recycling Centres (CRCs), we collect items that could be reused. These are checked to make sure they are safe and suitable for resale and then distributed to a Revive shop.

We have five Revive shops at which you can buy pre-owned items for the home and garden. They are a great way to help the planet and give something back to your community. (And you can pick up some cool second-hand stuff too!)

Where to find your nearest Revive shop

You’ll find Revive shops at these Community Recycling Centres:

Shops are open when the CRC is open, except the shop at Witley which is open on weekends only.

  • Sports equipment

Revive shops help the planet and the community

Each year, Revive shops sell almost 1,000 tonnes of items that would otherwise be disposed of. Making items last longer helps the planet by reducing our reliance on new products, saving resources and emissions. Profits made from Revive shops also go towards the running costs of the CRCs, meaning that money saved can be spent on other essential council services.

Each year, 10% of the net profits from the Revive shops are given to local charities. Twice a year, local organisations that deliver community, health and environmental projects in ßÙßÇÂþ» are awarded grants of up to £10,000 with over £68,000 donated since 2018.

Pick up second-hand paint at Guildford CRC

Residents visiting Guildford CRC can also pick up full or mostly full tins of paint. The tins are collected at all of ßÙßÇÂþ»’s CRCs and are taken to Guildford CRC where residents can take them home. Residents who take home paint are requested to donate to MacMillan Cancer Support.
