What is the Start-up pathway?
The Start-up pathway gives new early years providers extra support.
Who can join
- childminders
- preschools
- day nurseries
- school-based nurseries
You’ll work with our early years team to cover the basics of starting an early years business.
What we’ll advise you on
- market research and ßÙßÇÂþ»’s childcare sufficiency assessment (CSA)
- suitability of premises
- business and marketing
- setting fees and funding policies
- meeting statutory requirements and Ofsted regulations
- offering funded entitlements
What you'll get
You’ll also get documents and webinars on:
- funded early years entitlements and supplements
- the early years census
- grant funding
Once you set up, you can advertise your childcare vacancies on Childcare Finder.
