Course intent
Tai Chi is an ancient oriental art that over time helps revitalise mind, body and spirit through the learning and practice of “the form” (set sequences of movements performed slowly with precision).
The intent of this online course is to introduce you to the principles and practice of Yang style Tai Chi, using a range of gentle but powerful exercises.
What will I learn?
You will learn breathing and relaxation techniques that you can then include in the practice of a few Chi Kung health exercises as well as elements of the Yang 24 form.
Who is this course for? Is there anything I need to know before joining?
This course is for Hongkongers; no experience of Tai Chi is necessary but if you have done a little before you can work on more advanced exercises. If you have any queries about the course, please email the tutor on adultlearning@surreycc.gov.uk
