Course intent

Get ready to move and groove! Dance For Fun is a joyful dance course designed to lift your spirits, boost your energy, and get your body moving. The focus is on fun, so whether you’ve got two left feet or you’re a diva on the dancefloor, you’ll feel right at home.

What will I learn?

You will learn steps, moves, combinations and choreographies in a range of dance styles, from pop to musical theatre to ballet to Latin American.

Who is this course for? Is there anything I need to know before joining?

This course is designed for dancers of all abilities. Because it covers a range of different dance disciplines, you will be learning moves and steps that are new to you, even if you are experienced in a specific dance style.

What do I need to bring to the first class? Will there be any extra costs?

You will need to wear clothing that you can easily move in such as t-shirt and leggings. You should wear dance trainers or soft soled shoes. Please bring a water bottle. There are fountains to refill in the centre.

You can re-enrol on the next Dance For Fun course, to keep dancing.

We welcome learners with additional needs and disabilities. When you enrol, please let us know if you would like to discuss your extra support needs with a member of the Supported Learning Team who will then contact you as soon as possible. If you are enrolling within 10 days of the course start date, we may not be able to contact you before your first class.
