Service Update: Printing of Bus Passes and ßÙßÇÂþ»­ LINK Cards Resumed

We’re pleased to confirm that printing of ßÙßÇÂþ»­ English National Concessionary Travel Scheme (ENCTS) free bus passes and ßÙßÇÂþ»­ LINK cards resumed on 29 August 2025, following a technical issue with an external contractor.

Update – 16 September 2025:We’re making great progress in clearing the backlog and have brought in extra resources to help speed things up. We’re on course to be fully up to date by the end of this week, so if you’ve recently applied, your pass should be on its way very soon.

We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your continued patience and understanding.

Free bus passes explained

You'll need to provide updated recent proof of your disability when you reapply. Please ensure that correct and full page images of documents are included as incorrect proof will delay your application.

There are three ways to reapply

1. Online

You'll need

2. At a library

You will need to book yourself an appointment in a participating ßÙßÇÂþ»­ library.
