The reasons why we use your personal data

This privacy notice applies to the functions of the Programme, which aims to support employers in ßÙßÇÂþ»­ to improve and implement Workforce Wellbeing practices and strategies.

What processing of personal data is undertaken by the service?

Throughout advertising campaigns and when signing up to the programme the data you provide will be used to create a database which we will use to contact you about the ‘How Are You?’ Workforce Wellbeing Programme. We may also provide you with information about other local workforce wellbeing offers. The database will not be shared with third parties or partners.

During the programme employees of an organisation may be asked to take part in a survey to explore how experiences at work affect different aspects of wellbeing. These insights will then be used to tailor your organisation's wellbeing action plan. Your data could also be used for research purposes, to evaluate the ‘How Are You?’ programme.

Any data you provide will be used by your employer to understand the environment at your workplace and the health needs of employees as a group. ßÙßÇÂþ»­’s Public Health Team administer and analyse the survey results. The survey does not collect any of your personal data, however when we process your information, we will review so that any identifiable data you may have disclosed is anonymised. This ensures your employer will not be able to link you to the answers you provide.

How we are allowed to use your personal data

Consent

To process your personal data, we will explain to you what we are asking you to agree to and why. If we have consent to use your personal data, you have the right to remove it at any time. If you want to remove your consent, please contact us at the following email address public.health@surreycc.gov.uk and we will deal with your request.

Who we share  your personal data with

Anonymised data will be shared with your employer to help them understand the environment at your workplace and the health needs of employees as a group.

Retention of data

Data will be retained for 6 years from collection.
