Complete a short survey for a chance to win a voucher
Are you a relative or friend of someone in a care home? Are they funding their own care, either in full or partially?
If so, you could help improve the information available to people who are considering long-term care arrangements for themselves or their loved ones.
Healthwatch ßÙßÇÂþ» is working with us to understand more about the experiences of ßÙßÇÂþ» residents who live in a care home and are funding their own care, or whose families provide a top-up to cover the costs of the home.
The organisation has developed a short survey to find out more about:
- how self-funder care home residents came to live in a residential or nursing care home
- what other options were considered
- where they went for information and advice
Please complete the survey as the relative or friend of a current care home resident, or the resident themselves could fill it in if they wish. Your responses will help us, and other organisations involved in a person's care, make sure that people get the information they need, at the right time and in the right place, to make decisions about long-term care and support.
To fill in the survey, please visit the . The survey is also available via the .
The closing date for the survey is Friday 7 February. Five people who complete the survey before 7 February will be selected at random to receive a £10 voucher. Those selected will be notified within one month of the close of the survey.
