Description
This is an inclusive support group for parents of young people aged 18-30 experiencing mental ill-health. Providing a safe and welcoming space where parents and carers of all backgrounds can connect, share and gain strength from each other. The aim of the group is to offer support and information and help reduce feelings of isolation for parents and carers supporting their young person with mental- ill health, equipping participants with the necessary skills to better assist those they support, as well as improve their own overall well-being, in a compassionate, non-judgemental environment. The sessions will run weekly, with a blended delivery of online and face-to-face.
