Description
East to west partner with schools across ßÙßÇÂþ» to place Relational Support Workers into the school setting. Working in 1:1 or small group settings, we use a relational approach to support children and young people as they begin to work through well-being and mental health issues they’re facing, helping them understand and begin learning the skills and techniques needed to move from surviving to thriving. To find out more about our school’s work, please visit the website or contact your school and ask if they have an east to west worker.
They also work in partnership with St. Peter's Hospital, their team support young people who have been admitted having self-harmed, attempted suicide or who are experiencing a mental health crisis.
At present eat to west also work with GP surgeries in Guildford (with a view to expanding this provision across ßÙßÇÂþ» in the coming years). Utilising the skills and knowledge gained through nearly 30 years of bringing hope to young lives, our relational approach supports young people – referred through the GP practice – through a wide range of well-being and mental health challenges.
