Description
A free, early-intervention parenting support group run by Barnardo’s ßÙßÇÂþ» Paediatric Parenting Support Service and commissioned by ßÙßÇÂþ» Heartlands. Our service supports families with children aged 5 and under who may be showing early signs of neurodiversity, who already have a diagnosis or are displaying challenging behaviours. We want to reach all families who are navigating parenting their under 5s. We understand that many families are facing long waiting times for formal assessments—but they don’t have to wait to get support. Our groups offer practical strategies to help parents navigate everyday challenges, understand their child’s development, and support their emotional well-being. Just as importantly, it offers families a chance to connect with others who may be on a similar journey. Online and face-to-face parenting sessions are available.
